Narrative-Horror CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs is Available Now on Steam

CRITICAL REFLEX and indie developer Bastinus Rex have just launched CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs on Steam. CARIMARA is a narrative-horror experience about ghosts, goblins and the anxiety of asking too much. The game takes only about one hour to complete but has more than a few twists, turns and mysteries to uncover. 

As the Carimara - a small, magical being - your goal seems simple enough: summon a ghost. But, as you can imagine, this task isn’t as easy as shouting incantations, especially because you’re mute. You do, however, have the gift of conjuring questions using cards adorned with mysterious glyphs. You’ll have to ask the right questions or risk becoming only a memory.

Inspired by medieval Normandy folk legend and classic cinema, CARIMARA’s world and art design use highly detailed low-poly graphics, hand-crafted visuals and stop-motion animations. Explore this impactful journey to uncover the game’s many secrets.
