Editorial Mission

Six One Indie has been proudly powered by Vicarious PR since January 2024. This partnership helps us bring more eyes to the incredible indie games that need and deserve the attention. Through this support, we’re able to fund production and marketing for the Six One Indie Showcase and The Indie Game Awards, giving developers meaningful, low-barrier opportunities for visibility.

However, our editorial coverage remains completely independent. To maintain the integrity of our platform:

• We do not review, preview, or publish features on games from current Vicarious PR clients.

• We do not feature current Vicarious clients in the Six One Indie Showcase.

• During The Indie Game Awards, if a Vicarious client is brought into discussion, Six One Indie fully recuses itself from all conversations and voting to avoid any conflict of interest.

• Similarly, there is a strict line between editorial and Six One Publishing. We will not publish editorial content including reviews, previews, hands-on impressions, or news about any games published under the Six One Publishing label.

These boundaries are core to our values. Our goal is to support indie developers, not to muddy the line between traditional games marketing and our work within the indie scene. We believe transparency builds trust, and we’re committed to being a voice indie devs and their audiences can count on.
