Indie duo Alblune have released a big update to their nonogram puzzle game Squeakross: Home Squeak Home for both the Steam and Nintendo Switch versions.
The goal of Squeakross has players solving puzzles to unlock items and furniture for a tiny rodent home. This new update adds over 200 puzzles to bring the total to 850+ to solve. In addition to more puzzles to solve, players with an eye for design and detail will be able to place furniture at the edge of gridlines as well on the walls and use new furniture from "The Spirit and the Mouse" and "Home Squeak Home #3" catalogues. Players can also express themselves by editing their rodents' look - change the fur color, pattern, tail length, ear size, wardrobe, and more.
Along with 13 new Steam Achievements, night mode improvements, new stickers,as and rodent cheesemails that feature community rodent photos and tips and tricks from local non-profits, there is a lot to hop back into in this free content update.
If you don't have Squeakross: Home Squeak Home yet, you can pick it up on Steam and the Nintendo Switch eShop today.
Why We're Excited
I was blown away when this game was nominated at the Indie Game Awards for Accessibility, at the sheer amount of options to make the game accessible for as many people as possible. The continued free support for the game with more puzzles and fun decorations for players to enjoy is wonderful.
