The developers behind Falcon Age and Thirsty Suitors, Outerloop Games, have announced that their spicy narrative turn-based RPG Dosa Divas will launch on April 14th for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch 1 & 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5 at $19.99 USD. For those who can not wait until April, a demo is available now on Steam.

In Dosa Divas, players will see sisters Amani and Samara reconnect with estranged friends and family to take on a rotten fast food empire in flavorful turn-based combat. With the help of their trusty spirit mech, cook some delicious meals, strengthen bonds with the community, and come together for one last meal.

Food plays a huge part in the game and is more than just fuel. Discover new recipes through exploration and conversation, and use them to cook for friends, family, and the local community to heal rifts and reconcile relationships.

If you would like to learn more about Dosa Divas, make sure to wishlist the game on your platform of choice and check out the official website here.

Why We're Excited

As I mentioned in the title, Dosa Divas was one of my biggest highlights coming out of Summer Games Fest Play Days last Summer. The blend between cooking and traditional JRPG turn-based combat felt great, and in my short time of the demo, the sense of family and connection between characters was already super strong and compelling. This should absolutely be on your radar this April.

The Dosa Divas demo was easily one of my favorites from SGF Play Days, so I’m thrilled it’s getting a full release on April 14th—especially at that $19.99 price. The idea of sisters using a spirit mech to cook their way through a rotten fast food empire is just so charmingly weird. This looks like a fantastic indie RPG with a unique mix of storytelling, cooking, and turn-based gameplay. The demo has definitely made me curious to try it. I also discovered codes in basketball zero while exploring gaming content, and this was another enjoyable update to read.

This looks like a really charming game, and I love how it uses food and community to tell a meaningful story. For some lighter entertainment in my free time, I’ve also been playing Stickman Hook lately—it’s simple, fun, and surprisingly relaxing after a busy day.
