Toxic Crusanders Gets a New Gameplay Trailer and Release Window

Retroware has just released a brand new gameplay trailer for its upcoming beat’em up arcade game Toxic Crusaders as well as a new release window of Q3 2025. Relive the glory days of arcade beat ‘em ups and mop up Dr. Killemoff’s Radiation Rangers with up to four players.

Toxic Crusaders is a 90s cartoon (based on an R-rated 80s film). In the game, you’ll grab your mob, tutu and attitude and get ready to clean up the mean streets of Tromaville, one radioactive goon at a time. Play as seven available pugilists, each with their own unique abilities including: Toxie, Nozone, Junkyard, Major Disaster, Headbanger, Yvonne and Mrs. Junko.

Punch, kick and mop your way through an all-new story crafted to continue the narrative of the 1991 cartoon series which only aired for one season. Enjoy vibrant backgrounds, eye-popping character sprites and jump back into the Toxic Crusader’s Saturday morning cartoon world.
