Retro Adventure Game Toni Island Adventure Launches on Steam July 24th

Frolic Studio has just announced that its retro 2D RPG, Toni Island Adventure is set to release on Steam on July 24th, 2025. Originally  developed for the Game Boy Color, Toni Island Adventure is a bit-sized adventure game inspired by classics like Zelda: Link’s Awakening.

In the game, players step into the shoes of Toni, a pizza-loving sailor dog who wakes up shipwrecked on a strange island. To find his way home, Toni must help local dogs, explore dungeons and beat fearsome spiritual guardians to reunite all five relics to stop the Pepe Caldera volcano threat looming over the island. 

Toni Island Adventure is designed with short, focused play sessions in mind. Experience the game's light puzzles, cozy vibes and an awesome retro aesthetic. 

Toni Island Adventure is set to launch July 24th, 2025 for PC. A Digital Deluxe Edition will also be available which includes the game’s original 8-bit soundtrack and a retro-style instruction and art booklet, reminiscent of old Game Boy Manuals.
