Soulslike Deck Builder Death Howl Gets New Demo

Developer The Outer Zone and publisher 11 bit studios are launching a brand new demo for their soulslike deck builder, Death Howl, as part of Steam Next Fest from June 9th to June 16th. The full game is set to release later in 2025. 

The first demo for the game introduced players to the beginning of Death Howl, the game’s new demo picks up right after and lets players explore a brand-new region: the Creek of Spectral Falls. This new biome means new cards to craft, new synergies to discover and new tactics to master. 

Death Howl follows Ro, a hunter and mother, as she embarks on a journey full of love, loss and the slow path towards acceptance. Set in a mysterious world of forgotten lore, players must build and refine a deck of cards while engaging in strategic, turn-based combat set on a tactical grid.

Death Howl is set to release on PC later this year and is supported by the Danish Film Institute - The Games Scheme. Players can grab the demo starting June 9th and wishlist the game on Steam.
