Pack Up Belongings and Complete a Memoir in A Storied Life: Tabitha
Lab42 Games and publisher Secret Mode announced yesterday A Storied Life: Tabitha, a wholesome puzzle game combining serene packing puzzles with a choose-your-own-story twist.
In the game, players arrive at the house of someone close to them who has recently passed, to find a ruined memoir and a letter of interest from a publisher. As you pick through the items that made up this person's life, you’ll choose what stories you want to tell from their past, using the belongings they’ve left behind.
Each room of the house is filled with trinkets and memories, but you can’t keep everything. You’ll be in charge of carefully positioning objects in a cardboard box, using bubble wrap and tape to secure more fragile items. Decide what will stay with you, what will be sold and what will be discarded as you open up cupboards and drawers and rearrange furniture. You’ll also work on the memoir, using words you receive from each item to create a cohesive, unique story for the publisher.
A Storied Life: Tabitha will launch on PC in early 2026. You can wishlist the game now on Steam.
