Cut, Fold and Glue Together a Town in Cutout Village

DevilishGames has just released a new trailer for Cutout Village, the upcoming narrative game with touches of management and lots of crafting. The game tells about the challenges of depopulated villages and the importance of reviving towns in a sustainable way.

Cutout Village is inspired by medieval villages at a high risk of disappearance, and are meant to remind players of paper cutouts from the 1960s. The game follows a couple who have received a family house and decide to move to its old town. They find a village on the brink of extinction, which they plan to revive by restoring and constructing new buildings.

Cutting, folding and glueing is the main mechanic of the game as DevilishGames combines the cozy and wholesome dynamics of crafting and DIY which is meant to remind players of other ways of life.

Cutout Village is set to launch in 2026. Be sure to wishlist it on Steam.
