Catto's Post Office is a Heartwarming Adventure That Will Have You Grinning from Whisker to Whisker

There’s been quite a few delivery simulator games coming out lately and I’m here for it. Everyone loves getting packages, including me, and I love the idea of delivering packages to other people and watching a smile on their face as the thing that they probably didn’t need but wanted in two days or less, has arrived. Catto’s Post Office from developer In Shambles Studio channels player’s love for delivering packages and adds adorable cats to the mix.

In Catto’s Post Office, you play as Catto the Postcat who is in charge of delivering mail and packages to everyone in town. When you wake up in the game, it’s a very special day - Catto’s birthday! But, it seems like everyone has forgotten. Catt’s not one to throw a tantrum so he simply goes about his day as normal, delivering packages and wondering who might remember what day it is.

The game is very simple, in fact I’m so excited to show my seven-year-old niece the game because I think she’d absolutely love it. Catto’s town isn’t very large, so you’ll grab a package from the post office and drop it off wherever it’s meant to go. You’ll deliver a handful of packages, saying hello to the townsfolk along the way.

There are also tiny mini-quests that you complete in the game for some of Catto’s other friends. One quest, for example, is to help one cat find the box that she lost down by the pier. It’s a nice way to pad out the gameplay and keep it from getting too repetitive. That being said, it only takes about an hour to complete, so you won’t likely get bored of the adorable town.

Something I loved about the game, other than basically everything, was that there were even hidden achievements you could unlock like squeaking a hidden rubber duck or climbing inside of a box. It was so much fun just simply wandering around and discovering what secrets were hiding around the town.

Catto’s Post Office is a short and charming experience. I couldn’t stop smiling the entire game as you meet more and more of the town's adorable resident’s, deliver packages, and help the town with a few little quests. Is it the most complicated concept? No. But it truly brought me joy, especially as a lover of cats. This is an adventure cozy gamers won’t want to miss.

Catto’s Post Office is available now on PC.
