Card-based Retro Football Management Game Heads to PC Next Year

Developer Sumo Digital has just announced the retro deckbuilding football manager game, NUTMEG! which is set to launch next year. In the game players will relive the days when the tackles were as hard as the mullets were long and football was about football.

The game has players step into the cleats of a football manager. You’ll start with a Divison Four team and take them to the top of the table to unlock teams in the upper echelons of the sport. Use your knowledge of football’s past to snap up legendary payers before their salaries get too inflated.

Manage your team by setting training scheduling and transferring players, answer calls from the press, buy merchandise and adjust ticket prices for home games. Then, head onto the pitch for fast-paced card battles, diving into the match at key points to ensure your team does well. 

NUTMEG! is set to launch next year. Players can wishlist the game on Steam now.
