Brazilian Bar Game Capote! Launches Into Early Access Later This Month

Luski Game Studio, in partnership with Nuuvem, have revealed their multiplayer card game Capote! is coming to Steam Early Access on October 23rd. Inspired by classic Brazilian bar games like Trucco, the game transports players to a sweltering Brazilian pub where characters compete in card games until only one is left standing.

In Capote! 2-6 players compete in a card game of wits, bluffing, luck and strategy. Mixing Trucco with special cards, no win is guaranteed and any card can flip the game. With a low barrier to entry and a high skill ceiling, this game offers a fun time, regardless of your skill level. 

At the start of each round, players bet how many points they think they’ll amass, then play their cards round-by-round aiming to hit that exact number. Score too high or too low, and you’ll have to take a virtual shot for each point you're off from your prediction. Hit four shots and you’re out. It isn’t about winning, it’s about having fun and laughing at your friend’s, or your own, downfall.
