Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers are back with some unlikely allies in Scott Pilgrim EX, a high-energy beat ‘em up from the makers of MARVEL Cosmic Invasion and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge - Tribute Games on March 3rd, 2026, for PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S.
In this announcement trailer, two new fighters were announced to help Scott and Ramona save the city from robots, demons, and vegans. First new character unveiled Robot-01 which was built from two members of the League of Evil Exes, the Katayangi Twins. Robot-01’s moveset is all about precision and punishment and leads to clearing out mobs in an instant.
The second character unveiled is none other than Matthew Patel, a member of the League who brings theatrical flair and chaos to the battlefield. Matthew can summon demon hipsters, lay traps, and control fire to take down the opposition.
Scott Pilgrim EX is a brand new story co-written by Bryan Lee O’Malley and the team at Tribute Games, as well as all-new music from Anamanaguchi. Eager fans of the beat ‘em up genre and Scott Pilgrim alike can go here for all news and updates ahead of launch.

Tribute Games are the best at what they do, and what they do is make unbelievably fun to play beat em’ ups. The original game is one of our favorites, and we can not wait to hop into this sequel much sooner than we were expecting.
