Do you smell that in the air? That's the smell of showcase season upon us! Today, Top Hat Studios unveiled a strong lineup of what is to come in the near future for the publisher and in case you missed the full presentation, I've got you covered with everything revealed during the show!
This announcement brings together the official partnership between Top Hat Studios and developer luxan for this 2D pixel art horror action game. Players will play as Aria, a nun who is branded a sinner and is seeking absolution. Help Aria reach the last paradise left in the world by using a variety of tools to explore these haunted lands.
A brand new trailer from the developer Xekvera was shown off for its dark fantasy, first-person action-adventure game. In HALLOW BLADE, players will assume the role of a wanderer who forms an unbreakable bond with the Hallow Blade - an ancient possessed sword that hungers for revenge and souls.
We then got a release date for the highly anticipated parkour action-adventure game MOTORSLICE from Regular Studio. MOTORSLICE will launch on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on May 5th, 2026. Armed with nothing but a chainsaw, P must bring this place down and destroy every machine in sight by any means necessary.
Adding another game to the Top Hat Studios catalog of games, comes the next announcement of DELIVERY MUST COMPLETE. This game looks to be a cel-shaded aerial roguelike that blends together the deep combos of character-action games and intense flight dogfighting while you try to deliver a package through the heart of a chaotic warzone.
From developer Molegato, who are best known for their PS1-style Frogun games, comes Twinkle's Galactic Tour. This is a 3D adventure game that infuses musical rhythm into its platforming core. Players will play as Twinkle, who is an aspiring singer, as she travels the galaxy rescuing her fans following a disaster at her debut concert.
The surreal, story-rich, horror RPG The Backworld from developers Numor Games dropped a playable demo on Steam, which you can play right now! This cosmic adventure will have you slip between dimensions and explore 100 diverse areas ranging from terrifying liminal spaces to traditional JRPG-inspired fantasy worlds. During your adventures, you must keep an eye on your sanity as it will cause not just the characters to lose control, but the player seeing fake NPCs and experience UI glitches.
One of my most anticipated games of the year and my favorite demo from this past PAX East, Well Dweller announced that there will be a playable demo on Steam launching in 2 days on April 23rd. Well Dweller is the next game from Kyle Thompson who has created acclaimed indie hits such as Islets and Crypt Custodian. In this one, play as Glimmer, a tiny bird armed with a matchstick, who has to burn the wicked Queen to save his family before they become part of her royal gown.
The showcase's last announcement is a brand new trailer from 13th Street Studio's game BECROWNED - a psychological, surreal survival horror experience that blurs the line between medieval dark fantasy and rotting industrial horror. You will play as Richard Torrance, whose pursuit of happiness has led him into a bizarre, dark ages nightmare ruled by the seemingly absent "Omen Raven."
