Nice Day for Fishing Adds New Enemies and More in Today’s Update

Team17 Digital and FusionPlay released a brand new update for their pixel fishing adventure, Nice Day for Fishing. This second update adds elite enemies, which offer players a worthy challenge. 

Elite enemies are bigger and meaner fish that present new difficulties to players but drop special scales the new merchant will trade for. Freda has set up shop in the town of Honeywood, offering special sails in exchange for Elite fish scales that give the boat different attributes. Sails will have base and sprint speed, deceleration and stopping power stats, which can lead to some interesting sailing combinations. 

The update also includes new customization options where items can be used as skins without sacrificing any stats. Seasonal Events have been added as well that run between 2-4 weeks, with Halloween kicking off today. For a limited time, a Goblin has set up shop in Honeywood, where seasonal currency can be exchanged for special themed items or costumes. 

And finally, a secret boss, which is the most powerful players will have ever encountered, has been added to the game. Only the toughest adventurers will be able to defeat him and reap the awesome rewards. 

Nice Day for Fishing is available on PC, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch.
