Metroidvania Nocturnal 2 Unveils First Gameplay Trailer

Developer Sunnside Games has just revealed the first gameplay trailer for its upcoming Metroidvania, Nocturnal 2. Set to launch later this year for Nintendo Switch and PC, Nocturnal 2 offers non-linear exploration through a city plunged into a deep slumber. Your main objective is to awaken the city from its sleep. 

Nocturnal 2 is built around fast-paced aerial combat and juggling. The game challenges players to master a burn-out system to progress and defeat the enemies in the ruins of the city of Ytash. Players will need to recover scattered verses of a forgotten poem and carry the flames across the entire city to relight everything and burn through obstacles and foes.
