Jump Into an 80s Comic Book in the New Trailer for I Hate This Place

Broken Mirror Games in partnership with Skybound Entertainment has officially unveiled the first official gameplay trailer for the isometric survival horror game I Hate This Place. Developed by Rock Square Thunder this title is full of twisted monsters and warped reality wrapped in a comic book art style with an 80s horror vibe. 

In the game, you play as Elena, who must fight for survival when her friend unwittingly summons a malevolent force. Outmatched and hunted, you must loot, pick your battles and stay vigilant against enemies that hunt you by sound. 

From haunted forests, a derelict town, to infested bunks, this world is full of danger. Collect resources, craft essential gear, upgrade your campsite and rebuild outposts to stay alive and have somewhere to hide. 

I Hate This Place is set to launch on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch in Q4 2025. You can wishlist the game now on Steam.
