Steam users on PC, macOS, and Linux should be prepared for the brand-new soulslike metroidvania, Tearscape that is available now.

In Tearscape, players will discover a gothic world with fast-paced combat, exploration, and pixel art inspired by Game Boy Color classics. Uncover hidden secrets and dangerous challenges in a non-linear map.

Combat is not unlike other soulslikes where players will have a limited number of healing flasks, dodges and attacks are tied to a stamina meter and getting stronger is tied to upgrading your character's stats upon leveling up.

Find new tools to help you in combat and exploration as well as new abilities that will uncover hidden areas and help against the biggest of bosses that were born from dark experiments.

NPCs will also offer guidance, seek your help, and even have hidden agendas that will only come to light through your interactions with them.

If you want to dive into the world of Tearscape, you can pick it up on Steam via PC, macOS, and Linux at a 10% launch discount from $14.99 USD right now.

Why We're Excited

We have a soft spot here at Six One Indie for classic, retro visuals such as the Game Boy Color, and with Tearscape bringing a favorite genre of ours to this era of gaming, it's a match made in heaven.
