Everything Announced at Nintendo Indie World - March 3rd, 2026

Nintendo just showcased 18 incredible-looking indie games this morning during its latest Indie World presentation. In case you missed it, here is a rundown of everything shown from new game announcements, release dates, and even shadow drops of games you can play today.




The extreme action-adventure platforming game from developer Undercoders and published by Fireshine Games will have players take control of a train in a colorful dystopian future Japan when it launches on June 17th for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A demo is available now on Nintendo Switch 2's eShop and Steam.




From developers Dreamotion Inc., play as a corgi named Bong-gu who gets a whiff of his dad in the afterlife and goes on an touching narrative adventure to reunite with is dearly departed father in a story about relationships, farewells, and reunions. The Switch 2 version is launching on May 29th and will have a physical edition in June. PC version is already available now.



This sequel from Le Cartel Studio and Devolver Digital has you grab a friend to swing into action and avoid falling into the deadly void below. Join the chaos this Summer on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.




Balance adventuring with being a shop owner in this sequel to the beloved action-adventure RPG. Already available in Early Acces on Steam, Digital Sun and 11 bit studios will be launching into 1.0 this year on Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.




In this cozy puzzle game from Tiny Monks Tales and Daedalic Entertainment, assemble wooden scenes piece by piece like a 3d coloring book. Once the objects are placed in the right spot, watch the scenes come to life. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will also support the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls. Woodo launches this Summer for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.




An Indie Game Awards nominee in 2024, Minishoot' Adventures is a twin-stick shoot 'em up adventure where players will take control of their ship and tackle dungeons, find treasure and secrets, and discover long lost cities as you rescure your friends. The game launches today on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Game Pass.




From the makers of Lost in Random and Fe comes the award-winning dark fantasy adventure built entirely in real-life clay and animated in stop motion style. Become the Burnt One on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 26th. The game is available now on PC and PlayStation 5. Can also be played in VR.




From the creators of Don't Starve, Klei Entertainment, battle through corrupted beats and dangerous forest arenas either solo or with friends. The game was surprisingly launched into 1.0 today and is a console exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC.




From the BAFTA award-winning game The Artful Escape, Beethoven and Dinosaur and Annapurna Interactive have set the release date for this narrative-driven game about three friends exploring the greatest hits of their teenage experience. Mixtape launches on May 7th for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.




The new action RPG Metroidvania from Drinkbox Studios has players harnessing Blight by defeating enemies and changing the world around you. Battle through a psychedelic western nightmare to reclaim the memories of their people. It will launch seemingly as a console exclusive for Nintendo Switch 2 and PC this Fall.




Step into a dorsaken space station in this fast paced roguelike shooter solo or with friends. Battle through procedurally generated corridors overrun with biomechanical creatures. This game will also support the Joy-Con 2 mouse controls for smooth loot and shoot action. The game will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on March 17th. The game is already available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.




From Perfect Garbage and Blumhouse Games, establish your farming life in an idyllic town with some unsettling vibes. This newfound peaceful life gets thrown into whack upon the discovery of someone in the town is a supernatural serial killer. It will launch this Summer for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X|S.



Already available in Early Access on PC, developer Indoor Astronaut announced that this fast-paced co-op multiplayer is where players have to work together to keep their locomotive moving and avoid derailment is launching into 1.0 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC this May. A PlayStation 5 release is also coming later this year.




Something We Made and popagenda have announced that the cozy photographic adventure sequel will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PC, and PlayStation 5 this summer.




Step into the quiet glow of a late night konbini (convenience store) set in a 1990s town inspired by Japan. Stock shelves, explore the neighborhood, and meet charming customers. Nagai Industries will launch the game on April 30th for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.



From Square Glade Games and Silver Lining Interactive, turn an empty camper van into the home of your dreams in this cozy, off-the-grid exploration game. Play solo or in 4 player multiplayer to upgrade your vehicle, grow crops and explore a colorful world this April 23rd for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. A demo is available today on the Nintendo eShop.




The colorful rhythm roguelite action game from the creators of Patapon will launch on July 16th for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is already available on PC.




The Indie World ended with the announcement that one of the best games of 2025 is launching today on Nintendo Switch 2. Navigate through shifting corridors and ever-changing chambers in this genre-defying strategy puzzle adventure.
