Curse of Resthaven - A Narrative Roguelite From The Creators of Lil' Guardsman Announced

Hilltop Studios with publisher Digital Bandidos, has announced their follow-up to their award-winning 2024 game and criminally overlooked Lil Guardsman with Curse of Resthaven.
In Curse of Resthaven, players will take command of the cursed island colony of Resthaven after your niece disappears on the eve of a catastrophe. Govern the town, allocate resources wisely, and decide who - or what - to trust. When you need to venture beyond the safety of the colony walls and into the island's wilds, use a deck of cards to deal with each unpredictable encounter that pops up.
The island faces a moment of destruction every seven days. When this happens, the island's fading guardian intervenes and sends you back to the moment the player arrives on the island. With each new time loop, players will be able to carry over advantages in permanent skill upgrades and boons from the island's goddess. New information and truths will also be revealed with each loop from the fully voiced cast of characters.

Why We're Excited
As I mentioned above, Hilltop Studios' Lil Guardsman is one of my favorite experiences in games from the past few years. In what is a 180 in vibes, Curse of Resthaven looks incredible. I'm a sucker for a time loop, and I can already tell that know that these characters are going to have tons of surprises that I can't wait to uncover.
