Westlanders, a New Open-World Survival Game Based in the Wild West, Has Just Been Announced
Radical Theory and The Breach Studios have just announced Westlanders, an open-world survival, crafting, building and management game headed soon to consoles and PC with both solo and co-op modes. The studio aims to launch a Kickstarter campaign as well as hosting an early access period in order to maintain constant engagement with the players community.
Westlanders is inspired by the Wild West in 19th century North America. Players will have to survive the ruthless elements of the West while also mastering technologies to build villages, establish trade routes and utilize resources to tame these lands and the dangers therein.
The team has a three-phase plan in order to bring this ambitious game to players:
Kickstarter Campaign (Early 2026): Launch of a crowdfunding campaign to unite the community
Early Access: A development period spanning several months where early adopters will be able to play and provide feedback along with Kickstarter backers.
Full Release: Global launch on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
