Turn-Based Visual Novel Lotus: Lost Memories Coming Soon to Steam
Fenyx Digital has just announced its debut game, Lotus: Lost Memories. The game, which will soon be available on Steam with a public demo, is a side-scrolling, 2D pixel art visual novel that combines turn-based combat with a deeply emotional narrative, challenging players to confront themes of manipulation, memory and choice.
In Lotus: Lost Memories you play as Atsushi, a young, resilient samurai who has been caught in the midst of a raging war in Feudal Japan. Join Atsushi on a quest to retrieve the Raiketsu herb, a rare plant that holds the key to saving his ill father.
The game features deliberate, slow-paced combat that reflects the introspective tone of a visual novel. You’ll engage in strategic battles through a unique system that combines turn-based mechanics with real-time Quick Time Events for actions such as blocking, parrying, and interrupting attacks. Experience a variety of combat environments from serene landscapes to the roaring excitement of the battle arena.
Lotus: Lost Memories’ demo will be available from June 9th to 16th where you’ll be able to experience the first 20 minutes of the game’s opening act as well as a brief sneak peek of a mini-boss battle. Wishlist the game on Steam to stay up to date on future announcements.
