Truckful Demo Preview | Something's Going on in This Forest

There’s been quite a few delivery games coming out lately and I've been loving it. Everyone loves getting a nice letter or package. And Truckful from developer MythicOwl and Pocketpair Publishing managed to impress in just under twenty minutes. 

Truckful is an upcoming driving action-adventure game where you drive your pickup truck in order to deliver much-needed goods to local townsfolk. In the demo, available on Steam now, you’ll start out with a pretty broken down truck, but it still gets the job done plenty well, and you might have to go offroading. 

Eventually you’ll come across a woman who has broken down on your path and asks for your help with transporting her cargo. You’ll have to carefully load things into the back of your truck or risk them falling out on the drive. It reminded me just a bit of Death Stranding, where you have to use a bit of strategy when packing up your truck. 

While the countryside is beautiful, it becomes obvious quite quickly that things aren’t exactly as they seem. There are secrets hidden among the trees and maybe even some dark entities that wish you harm. But still, there’s packages to be delivered and that’s your job. 

The full version of the game promises upgrades for your truck. As you progress you’ll uncover the mysteries of the forest around you and, even more about the inhabitants living there. 

Truckful is set to launch in 2026. Players can jump into the demo now on Steam and wishlist the game to stay up to date on future announcements.
