Retro Side-Scroller Neon Inferno Gets October Launch Date

Developer Zenovia Interactive and publisher Retroware recently announced that their hybrid side-scroller and gallery-shooter Neon Inferno is set to launch later this year on October 2nd.

As warring factions battle for control of a dystopian New York City, players enter the fray as an assassin for the Family - a notorious crime syndicate determined to eliminate its rivals and dominate the metropolitan battlefield. Take control of either Angelo Morano or Mariana Vitti as you battle through the streets blasting, deflecting and slicing your way through enemies.

Neon Inferno is rendered in beautiful pixel art and backed by an evocation soundtrack delivering a stylish, modern 2D action experience with cyberpunk flair. Players that don’t want to go it along can grab a friend and reign across the city together. Double the characters, double the firepower.
