Puzzle Adventure MotionRec is Available Now on Steam
PLAYISM, the Japanese independent publishing company known for bringing games from independent developer to players around the world just launched a brand new game in its fall lineup - MotionRec. MotionRec is a cassette tape-themed puzzle game developed by indie studio HANDSUM. It blends rhythm, action and puzzling where players must find creative ways to record and playback movements to solve puzzles.
To celebrate the launch of the game, its original soundtrack, featuring 21 melodic lo-fi tracks is also available in the Steam store for $6.99. Players can purchase the soundtrack and game together for a 10% discount on both.
Set in a post-apocalyptic world, MotionRec follows a robot named Rec as it navigates a devastated world ruled by machines, attempting to record the history of civilization. Record the trajectory of Rec’s movements as it navigates platforms and other areas it travels across.
MotionRec is available now on Steam alongside its soundtrack. PLAYISM’s fall indie line will also feature Cling to Blindness, an audio horror game from developer Lizardry and Million Depth, an action strategy game from Cyber Space Biotope.
