Psychological Horror Game Silent Road Has Just Been Announced and Looks Terrifying
Independent studio Endflame has just announced its upcoming first-person psychological horror game Silent Road, which is set deep within a remote Japanese forest region. This reveal is accompanied by the game’s first announcement trailers which gives players a great glimpse at what horrors await them in the game.
In the game, you play as a night-shift taxi driver who has to navigate lonely forest routes and isolated villages. Along the way you’ll meet strange passengers, whispered stories and quiet conversations. As the night progresses, you may just uncover some truths behind the forest’s strange visitors.
Inspired by Silent Hill and Fatal Frame, Silent Road will feature fog-drenched roads and a truly eerie atmosphere. The team at Endflame has taken the lessons they learned from their first J-Horror title Ikai and hopes that after pouring their hearts into Silent Road, players will enjoy this new frightening experience.
Silent Road is currently in development for PC via Steam with a demo on its way soon. Players can wishlist the game today for future updates.
