PM Studios and TeamSuneat Launch Hack 'n' Slash Dragon is Dead Today

PM Studios and its subsidiary development studio Team Suneat have just launched version 1.0 of their hack ‘n’ slash roguelite, Dragon is Dead on Steam. The game has grown and evolved alongside the community from one in Early Access. Feedback has left a mark on nearly every aspect of the game and the team is excited to officially launch into 1.0.

Dragon is Dead is a fast-paced, 2D hack ‘n’ slash roguelite that blends pixel-precise action with deep RPG customization. Players must battle through dungeons, master skill trees and collect powerful and Legendary items all while confronting Guernian, the Dark Dragon spreading corruption across the land.

With the 1.0 launch players will be able to descend into the climactic final region, face a terrifying new boss and take up arms as the feral new heroine, “Hunter of the Beast.” Difficulty is fully customizable, while the revamped Tempering system invites bold, high-risk builds for players confident enough to try. The full list of what’s including in Version 1.0 is as follows:

  • Final Region & Boss Battle: The remaining members of the Guernian clan become entangled with the schemes of the Circle of the Dawn, forcing players to confront the ultimate truth behind the dragon’s demise.

  • New Enemies: Beware the Circle of Black Dawn, fanatical human worshippers who seized Guernian’s heart after his death.

  • Legendary and Mythic Gear: Discover new Legendary gear and a brand new and more powerful Mythic tier of equipment.

  • Item Quenching: This new system allows players to add new options to their gear and further upgrade the performance of existing ones.

  • New Hero “Hunter of the Beast”: This new character brings unique skills and combat style to the battlefield.

  • Nightmare More x16: For seasoned adventurers seeking the ultimate test, 16 levels of challenging Nightmare difficulty will unlock after completing the base game. These endgame challenges feature entirely new enemy patterns and systems, not just increased enemy numbers.

Dragon is Dead is available now on Steam.
