Open-World Fantasy RPG The God Slayer Has Just Been Announced and Looks Fantastic
Pathea Games, the studio behind the life-sim series My Time at Portia, has just unveiled The God Slayer, an upcoming third person open world steampunk fantasy roleplaying game which is set to release on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox. Inspired by the likes of Assassin’s Creed and Avatar: The Last Airbender, enter an Eastern-inspired steampunk metropolis where gods reign with a divine fist.
In the game, you play as an Elemancer, a person infused with elemental powers who refuses to bow down to the Celestial Gods. In its 40-hour story driven campaign, your goal is to galvanize a resistance against the gods fueled by the power of anger at the loss of the Elemancer Cheng’s family.
The God Slayer features freeform RPG gameplay with fully customizable elemental combat. Explore the capital city of Zhou, making different choices to achieve your objectives. Meet new allies, distract your enemies, take hidden routes and get closer and closer to your goal to take down the Gods.
The God Slayer is available to wishlist now on Steam and Epic Games Store, with store pages for PlayStation 5 and Xbox launching at a later date.
