Taiwanese Horror Game SUFFOCATE Launches Later This Month

Independent developer Naughty Cow has just announced the release date for its upcoming survival horror SUFFOCATE which is set to launch on PC, October 23rd, 2025. 

Set in the present day, SUFFOCATE revolves around family relationships, a mysterious cult and the greed that permeates human nature. The game features many graphic and intense topics as players uncover the truth behind what went wrong for a seemingly happy family. 

The game features intense stealth sections, parkour, puzzle solving and more forcing players to face their deepest fears. It references important incidents in recent Taiwanese history such as the “Snails without Shells” movement. Other inspirations include The Bold, the Corrupt and the Beautiful, Island of Greed and more. 

SUFFOCATE launches on October 23rd, 2025 for PC. You can wishlist the game to stay up to date on the game or join the Discord server to interact directly with other players and the developers.
