Hand-drawn Epic Chronoscript: The Endless End Was Just Announced

Shueisha Games has just announced earlier this week, Chronoscript: The Endless End, a brand-new 2D exploration action-adventure, developed by DeskWorks inc. heads to PlayStation 5 and Steam in 2026. A first-look trailer was revealed during Sony’s latest State of Play showcase, highlighting the game’s stunning dual world design and hand-drawn art style.

In the game, players step into the role of an editor in AD 2026 who accepts a strange assignment at a remote mountain manor. After blacking out from a mosquito bite, he awakens inside a cursed manuscript of a thousand-year tale that refuses to end. To break the cycle and bring the tale to its final chapter, players must explore the inked world, uncover hidden truths and confront the manuscript's corrupted denizens.

Chronoscript: The Endless End blends classic 2D action-adventure with fluid exploration, intense enemy encounters and an unsettling hand-drawn style. Players can look out for the game when it launches in 2026 on PlayStation and Steam.
