Gorgeous Metroidvania Constance Set to Release This November

Btf Games and co-publishing partner ByteRockers Games have just announced that the 2D hand-drawn metroidvania, Constance, will be released on PC, November 24th, 2025 with a PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch/Switch 2 release set for 2025. 

A new release date trailer for Constance shows off the game’s flow-state-inducing, paint-based platforming and combat and gives players a peek at the games’ deeper themes based on the protagonist's declining mental health, manifested in her attempts to escape from a colorful but decaying inner-world. 

In Constance, transform into paint to dive into the ground and walls, slice through the air and enemies, and utilize an array of unique brush techniques to experience a constant state of flow. But, rely on your brush techniques too much and your paint will become corrupted so players will have to focus on balance. 

Explores six unique biomes, with each region featuring its unique set of enemies and characters that represent different aspects of Constance’s life. Uncover secrets, multiple paths, deadly bosses and much more.
