Dive Into a Hand-Drawn Black and White Dungeon in The Secret of Weepstone
Talesworth Game Studio and publisher Dreadxp has just announced The Secret of Weepstone, a hand-drawn, black and white dungeon-crawling RPG inspired by old-school role-playing. In the game you must roll your dice as you fight for your life against menacing monsters, loot and plunder treasure-filled halls and chests, and uncover long forgotten secrets.
In the game, an abandoned keep lies in the forsaken village of Weepstone. It withers in silence, crops dead and people living in fear. Byron, Lord of Weepstone, is ill and bedridden and with no champions to call upon, it falls to the commonfolk of the town to face the unknown and comfort what powers are to blame for their misfortune.
The Secret of Weepstone is rendered entirely in hand-drawn black and white as a love letter to tabletop adventure of the 70s and 80s. Level up your party, find new equipment to help you in battle, survive deadly encounters and find as much loot as you can to try and bring Weepstone back to the thriving settlement it once was.
The Secret of Weepstone is set to launch on PC in 2026. You can wishlist the game on Steam now.
