CRITICAL REFLEX Adds Two New Solo Developed Games to Its Publishing Line Up
Publisher CRITICAL REFLEX has just announced two new innovative PC titles joining its publishing lineup - surreal narrative adventure Burden Street Station from developer IODINE and horror mystery RPG HEAVY AS STONE from developer jøy.
In Burden Street Station you play as a tiny spirit who will shapeshift during conversations to uncover how God went missing. Inspired by the visual language of 90s adventure games, the game is a non-linear narrative with an off-kilter world to discover. Collect personality traits through talking and exploration and wear them to unlock dialogue options and advance multiple stories.
In HEAVY AS STONE you investigate a series of deaths in a 1920s Prohibition-era city on behalf of the Atsmith Life Insurance Co., uncovering the relationship between these cases and the cause of your mysterious illness. Examine case files, visit crime scenes and build narrative to determine insurance payouts, with each choice shaping the unfolding story. Adapt to your disease and survive Terminal’s seedy underbelly of bootleggers, cultists and fellow afflicted as you face the consequences of your search for answers.
Both Burden Street Station and HEAVY AS STONE are available to wishlist on Steam now, alongside CRITICAL REFLEX’s other recently announced titles Eclipsium and CARIMARA: Beneath the Forlorn Limbs.
