Birdigo is Charming Mix Between Balatro and Wordle and is Out Today

Developers John August and Corey Martin have just launched their roguelike word game about migrating birds, Birdigo, on Steam. Build words, stack combos and guide an adorable flock of birds around the world.

Birdigo got started when John August, screenwriter of Corpse Bride, Charlies Angels, and Big Fish, put out a call on his podcast, Scriptnotes, asking for a game developer to help with a new project. That’s where Corey came in!

In Birdigo, you assemble letter cards into worlds, which add up into “flaps” to send you further along in your journey. Use enchanted feathers, letters and songs to change the rules of the game as you build your score. Go for broke with wild strategies and crazy combos, generate high scores and guide your flock to safety.

You can grab Birdigo on Steam now.
