Detective Game Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile to Launch This September

Microids and Microids Studio Lyon announced yesterday that the upcoming narrative adventure game based on Agatha Christie’s, Death on the Nile, is set to launch on September 25th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC. 

Agatha Christie - Death on the Nile is a modern adaptation of Christie’s novel that introduces a fresh narrative twist with two playable protagonists - Hercule Poirot and a brand new character, detective Jane Royce. 

Alternate between the two characters, getting a unique perspective on the crime from both detectives. Use Poirot’s razor-sharp logic and Royce’s intuition to cross-reference testimonies, interrogate suspects and piece together clues to uncover the truth. 

A limited edition of the game will be available (UK Only) and will include:

  • The full game

  • A 48-page artbook: “The Art of Death on the Nile”

  • A stylish bookmark

  • The game’s original soundtrack (digital format)
