Adorable Puzzle Game Squeakross: Home Squeak Home Just Had a Surprise Launch

Two person development studio, Alblune, has just launched their newest game, Squeakross: Home Squeak Home which is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC. This release was a surprise as part of the Wholesome Direct which aired on Saturday June 7th, 2025. 

In Squeakross you join Nini, the Home Squeak Home program’s official manager who has a passion for nonogram puzzles. Nini has provided you with a cozy rat residence, but you must complete puzzles in order to earn furniture for your little home. Your puzzle catalog contains 650 solvable Squeakross puzzles and each puzzle completed will reward you with furniture. 

In the game hint numbers on the sides indicate how many squares to fill with cheese in each row or column. Mark the largest hint numbers, leaving spaces as needed. After that, analyze different arrangements to complete the puzzle. Strike out hint lines one by one and repeat the process until the picture of your brand-new furniture is revealed.

Players that haven’t solved a nonogram puzzle before can use Nini’s in-game guidance to help them learn how to solve them step-by-step. Players can also revisit the manual at any time for additional tutorials.
