A New Noir Detective Game Obsidian Moon Has Just Been Announced

Lost Cabinet Games has just announced an upcoming text-based detective adventure set in the 1930s, Obsidian Moon. The game promises a psychological descent into a series of murders that tie into a growing, otherworldy conspiracy hidden beneath the city’s surface. 

As Carter, a once-respected homicide detective haunted by grief and failure, you’ll be asked to solve a string of interconnected cases through logic, instinct and the steady collapse of your own sanity. 

Inspired by Lovecraftian horror, 1930s noir and Mediterranean chtonic mythologies, Obsidian Moon melds storytelling with genre-bending mechanics that echo titles like Stacklands, Papers, Please and Cultist Simulator.
