The seventh iteration of IGN's Fan Fest had it's first day of announcements yesterday. This event covers everything from the world of movies, TV, games, comics, and anime and offers exclusive reveals, trailers, gameplay, and more. I've compiled a list of everything from the world of indie games that got me excited from the event:
New content for PowerWash Simulator 2 is coming on April 9th, 2026. This expansion includes landmarks from Adventure Time to clean to your heart's desire. The expansion will come to the Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and Epic Games Store versions of the base game for $7.99 USD.
From the creator of Skatebird comes a new action, hack-and-slash game called Verminsteel. In this one, you will once again control a bird, but instead of hitting the skate park, you'll be hitting fascists in the face and kicking them so hard they fly into the sun. You will also be joined by a hoe-wielding badger, a mouse with a frying pan, and all the Molotovs you can chuck.
Esoteric Ebb is a single player CRPG inspired by tabletop adventures. Along with the release date of March 3rd announcement (That's next week!), you also get another look into this isometric journey of unraveling a political conspiracy with your goblin sidekick.
The 2.5D roguelike beat 'em up gets confirmation of the game's release on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. Slated to launch sometime in 2026.
The first-person RPG that mixes with the sandbox survival genre announced its Early Access launch on PC for March 17th, 2026. In Everwind, players will build a base on a flying island-ship and join friends as they gather, craft, look, and fight above the clouds.
Join Us has players starting a doomsday cult. With up to 4 player co-op, recruit followers, build up your compound, customize your cult's beliefs, and prepare for survival of the Apocalypse.
In this open-world survival FPS, players will have to operate and upgrade your steam-powered train through an unforgiving wasteland, where every choice is a matter of survival.
